D is for Dolphin Power Animal

Dolphin-- [Do not confuse with the 'Porpoise'] -
Inner sounds that can create outer manifestations.
Living in tune with the patterns and rhythm of nature. Using the power of breathing as an emotional release of anger and pain. Swimming freely and going along with your feelings.
(Contrary to its popular "Flipper" image, the dolphin can be aggressive and violent.)
Danger of getting caught up in others troubles

Dolphin -- As the great teacher of the power of play and unconditional love, enhances feelings of joy, laughter and delight, as well as compassion for one's own pain and that of others.
Deepens the power of healing and transformation with breath, water, love, joy and meditation.
Enhances dream recall, psychic development, and telepathic communication between people and animals.

  1. Very interesting topic!

I love dolphins but they're a lot more complex than they're often given credit for.

  5. The dolphin is a magnificent creature but, as you say, has its dark side too - just like humans. I'm enjoying reading your A to Z posts. Around My Kitchen Table

  6. That could prove dolphins might be smarter than humans. . .if they can refocus their energies. David Brin chose the dolphin as one he would uplift in his stories, but I had to look up the actual differences. Amazing what we don't know. . .about other species.

  7. I never knew dolphins could be dangerous probably because I watched too many films where they were super smart and saved lives!
